I know, I know, it’s late already… But I love this movie so much! Well, actually what kind of Walt Disney movie I don’t like? :p
But this movie has reminded me that we have to dream! This movie is one of Walt Disney movies which makes me want to share all what Walt Disney has given to me since I was a little girl. It reminds me that we have to follow our dreams, no matter how hard it is, like Walt Disney had done before he died.
Enchanted has spelled all its audience (specially women, of course) to be enchanted by its charm, its romance, and its story. All my female friends love this movie like I do. We love the songs, we love Amy Adams as Giselle, we love Pip (OMG he is so… funny!!!), we hate Narcissa (of course, who doesn’t?), we love how Giselle thinks about dreams, and we hate the mouse and the cockroach.
The one which I often talk with my co-teachers is about how disgusting it is to have mice and cockroaches as our maids! Ugh… Yikes… Can’t imagine how gross it would be… The next one is Giselle’s way of calling her friends (Aaaaa…) We often copy the way she sings to be laughed at… And we also often sing I’ve been Dreaming of a True Love’s Kiss like Pip does when he tries to speak to Prince Edward.
The other thing that I concern from this movie is what Queen Narcissa means by saying, "to the place where there will be no happiness". And guess where she send Giselle? Our world (New York)!!! Well, according to this movie, there is no happiness in New York. No one cares about each other. It is rare to find someone who wants to help other people…
Come on, guys, aren’t we all ashamed that we cannot live well? This movie made me realize that we should not think about works all the time, but we have to enjoy our life, find our true love (get our true love’s kiss!). Keep in faith to what we have to believe in, and try to get it!
Have you found your true love? I hope so…
Below is the clip from the original web of Enchanted. It is when Pip is miming Giselle, trying to tell Prince Edward about Nathaniel’s evil plan. This is my favorite part of the movie. so, enjoy…
