Because my grandfather has been ill since about three weeks ago, I have been very busy, go to the hospital and then go home, then go to the hospital again. Finally, couple days ago, I could take a breath for a while, because my mother told me to relax for couple hours. So I decided to watch Wall-E.
Wall-E, a robot who was programmed to clean our earth, because there is no other place on earth for human to live because their own garbage. At first, there were some Wall-Es left on the Earth, while human kind were living in a space ship. It has been happening for over 700 years, and our main character becomes the only Wall-E on the earth. He lives accompanied by a cockroach. Wall-E loves to play, (and he is also lovable), he also loves to collect things he finds while cleaning the Earth, but deep inside his heart, Wall-E is lonely.
One day, he meets Eve, a robot who was told to check our Earth. She was told to find any plants which can show that Earth can be the place for human to live again. Wall-E then makes friends with Eve and he also falls in love with Eve. But Eve is living on Earth to do her direction: find the plants.
Until a day Wall-E gives her a present, which then she turn out to be a plant. Eve, who has been programmed to search plant, then automatically switched off until a ship comes and takes her back to the big ship (Axiom). Wall-E, whose heart has belonged to Eve, follows the ship. Then Wall-E meets people who have been too lazy to do anything (they’re surely fat!!!) All people sits on the moving chair which has telephone (no hands), and they are served by so many robots. By bringing the plant, Eve gives the captain chance to do something in his life besides sitting on the chair, which is to bring everybody home to Earth.
Will they successfully to go back to the Earth? Just watch it by yourself. This movie, I think, is very full of moral aspects.. It teaches us about recycle things. Don’t let garbage take our place (and don’t litter in our Earth too..) And this movie is also romantic, considering the relationship between Wall-E and Eve. And it’s also funny!!! Overall, I give 9 on the scale 10. Yay Pixar! Yay Disney!!!! Thanks for giving me some time to relax by watching Wall-E! Don’t miss it, guys! Wall-e is cool…
