Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes

Author: disneytalks Categories: Latest News, Walt Disney

Because most of my website visitors are from Asia, I would like to inform them about a very good news. You will be able to watch Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes.

The story will be about all Disney Princesses. We will meet Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Cinderella, Mulan, Jasmine (Aladdin), Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), and Snow White. Tinker Bell from Peter Pan will be the guide. She will guide the audiences to their imagination and make them sure that everything can happen if you just believe. With music and acrobatic show, you will enjoy the show.

I have experienced watching Disney on Ice when I was a little girl, and it was awesome! Although I was only 4 or 5 years old, and I couldn’t understand all the stories (I was late in learning English), but I really enjoy the dances, the music, and I could meet all Disney characters (especially Donald, Daisy, Mickey, Goofy, etc). It’s  unforgettable.

The schedule is written below:

  • Singapore 13-17 March 2009
  • Kuala Lumpur 20-22 March 2009
  • Bangkok 27 March – 2 April 2009

Congratulations, Wall-E!

walle2  Although it had six nominations for Oscar, an Pixar-Walt Disney animation Wall-E had won an Oscar for “Best Animated Film”. It was also nominated for Original Score, Original Song, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, and Original Screenplay.

Wall-E , like I’ve discussed before here, is an animation created by Pixar Studio and Walt Disney Production in 2008. It doesn’t have many dialogues, but still, it’s interesting to watch. The story is fresh and it’s showing us how our Earth will be if we keep making it dirty. Wall-E is a robot which has to clean our Earth so human will be able to live in it again.

One thing I remember from Wall-E is M-O, the robot whose duty is to make sure everything is clean in Axiom (the space ship where people from Earth live). M-O is Microbe Obliterator, which obsess to clean the ship and inspects incoming shipments. Every time M-O sees Wall-E, he always makes Wall-E clean. Wall-E dirty trail (because he is from our dirty Earth) always makes M-O upset, but he still cleans it. I love him! One thing interesting about Wall-E and M-O, they have same person to be their voice. Benn Burtt voiced Wall-E and M-O.

I feel pity that Wall-E didn’t get all the Oscars, but at least it won one. Besides Wall-E, Walt Disney was also nominated for Bolt. It is not 3D animation, but 2D animation with John Travolta and Miley Cyrus as Bolt and Penny.

Some interesting things related to Wall-E and friends

Finally, after months without being able to connect the internet, I finally be able to post again… (Yay…) :)

To start, I will tell you about the bad news I got from my friend. He said that Narnia will not be produced by Walt Disney anymore. How sad…

Is it true or just a rumor? I’m sure that Narnia will always be a great movie to watch, but it will be nicer if Walt Disney produces it. The next Chronicles of Narnia is The Voyage of Dawn Trader. We can still see Georgie Henley as Lucy, Skandar Keynes as Edmund, and Ben Barnes as Prince Caspian.

What do you think, guys?
